In Conversation – Event Friday 20th September 2024

Henry Marsh

In Conversation with Dee Dee Wilde (Pan’s People) and Henry Marsh (Sailor)

Friday 20th September – South Stoke Village Hall
Doors open at 7pm
7:30pm sharp until 9:30pm with interval

Dee Dee Wilde co-founded sensational 70s dance act Pan’s People, while her husband Henry Marsh played in the band Sailor, whose hits include “Champagne” and “Girls Girls”. Both were around in the world of media and pop in the 60s and 70s, and they will be coming along to the hall to talk about their many and varied experiences, and the interesting people they met. Expect anecdotes galore. Should recollections of events vary, Henry and Dee Dee will work out their differences in front of a live audience. Henry will also be regaling us with his musical talent and, if time permits, there will be a Q&A session.

(There is a strong rumour that the performance will contain song(s) from the hit South Stoke panto “Mother Goose”. Henry provided the music for that event…)
